H1N1 Flu (Swine Flu) Update

The H1N1 vaccine is now available to anyone who wants to receive it.  Please call your health care provider or the Health Department Hotline for local H1N1 clinic dates and times.

Weather Spotter Training Scheduled in Leelanau County

The National Weather Service in Gaylord will be conducting the Skywarn Weather Spotter Training on Wednesday, April 14, 2010, beginning at 6:30pm, in the Emergency Operation Center (EOC) of the Leelanau County Law Enforcement Center, 8525 E. Government Center Drive, Suttons Bay, Michigan.  This training is open to the public and there is now cost to attend.

From Suttons Bay, follow M-204 west approximately 2 miles to Government Center Drive.  Turn right on Government Center Drive and follow it to the top of the hill.

From Lake Leelanau, follow M-204 east approximately 1.5 miles to Government Center Drive.  Turn left on Government Center Drive and follow it to the top of the hill.

                   The EOC entrance is located to the left of the tower.
