Clean Water Video Series

Biologist Rob Karner and former student Lindsay Simmons have put together 21 minutes of edited video representing four videos: Leelanau Clean Water 1 – 3 and Fertilizers Near Water. They are posted on You Tube. Karner summarized the topics covered in the videos, including: Green Belting, Law Fertilization, Lake Water Irrigation Systems, choosing the correct fertilizer, taking a soil sample, fertilizing using a drop spreader, composting lawn clippings and self monitoring of your shoreline for algae growth.
