Please join the Leelanau County Brownfield Redevelopment Authority (LCBRA) for a Luncheon and Brownfield Informational Session on Tuesday, March 20th at the Community Meeting Room in the lower level of the Government Center.
Come and learn about the available grant dollars, other potential funding sources, and projects completed throughout the county.
Leelanau County currently has over 120 sites with known contamination, and there are undoubtedly countless others. This funding provides the opportunity to understand the risks that site contamination may pose to human health and the environment and to develop a plan to mitigate those risks. This may be useful in supporting a pending or future sale of a contaminated property, or perhaps there are real or perceived environmental concerns that are affecting the marketability of a site.
FREE Lunch & Presentation: 11:30 am – 1:00 pm (Lunch courtesy of the presenters)
Location: 8527 E. Government Center Dr.
(Between Lake Leelanau & Suttons Bay on the north side of M-204.)
RSVP by March 13th by calling the Leelanau County Planning and Community Development office at (231) 256-9812 or email email@example.com.
