The first Leelanau County Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) and Electronics collection for 2020 will be held on June 20, 2020 at Glen Lake School. Appointments are required for all collections. Due to current Statewide concerns with spreading the Covid-19 virus, we respectfully request that participants stay in their vehicles while dropping off. Also, please arrange your materials so that they can be clearly and easily identified by event workers. Do not place items in plastic bags – use boxes or paper bags. We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.

On June 27, a Scrap Tire recycling collection will be held at Glen Lake School for Leelanau County residents. Passenger tires and car tires accepted with or without rims. No oversized tires, no tires from a commercial business. Appointments are required and there is a $1.00/tire cost that must be paid prior to the collection. (Limit of 10 tires per residence).
