Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail - CR 669 to CR 651

Help inform the design of the final phase of the 27-mile Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail.

Preliminary design is kicking off for the proposed phase of the Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail between County Road 669 and County Road 651.  The Public Open House on Wednesday, August 29 at the Cleveland Township Hall is an opportunity to: 

  • Learn about the preliminary design process from project partners and design consultants
  • Share your ideas about the trail
  • Help inform trail route and design

Now available at Auction - would make great containers at construction sites.

Leelanau County is offering for auction a quantity of 30-yard, roll-off recycling containers.

Inspection of Containers: It is strongly recommended that all interested parties inspect the containers thoroughly before an offer to purchase is submitted. Inspection and viewing is available by appointment only: Contact Mark at 231-624-1501. All containers are located in Traverse City, Michigan.
