Village Parks

The Marina Park located on Front Street provides picnic tables, swings, playground equipment and areas for quiet reading.  The Village has just recently installed 116 feet of mobi mat which allows wheelchair access to the beach! The marina itself has 171 slips available for seasonal and transient boating.  More information can be found on the marina link on this website.

Sutton Park is located on Beach Street and is one of the most popular parks.  The park boasts of crisp clear water and sand like you have never experienced. The park hosts swings, playground equipment and a pavilion.  The pavilion is first come first serve.

North Park is located north of the village central business district at the corner of M-22 and M-204.  Access to the park is from Front Street.  The park has a pavilion, which can be reserved by filling out the North Park Lease Agreement and plenty of parking next to the boat launch.

Duester Park is located off of Cherry Blossom Trail and was once used as the old fairgrounds.  Its current use is limited to children's soccer games and T-ball.

The Water Wheel Park is located downtown behind the Village clock. Picnic tables and a running stream provide a great place to enjoy your lunch.  You will also find a tennis court, pickle ball court, and basketball hoops for your exercise needs.

In the winter, the most active park is Bahle Park. Bahle Park provides a warming hut that can hold up to 41 guests and includes a fire place, refrigerator, stove, and restrooms.  The Hut is located next to one of the best sledding hills that Leelanau County has to offer.  The warming Hut can be reserved by calling the Village offices.  You can find an application to reserve the Hut and fees by accessing applications and forms.
