  • Minimum Requirements for a Law Enforcement Deputy: U.S. citizen; 21 years old; Associate's Degree or four years of full-time military service; MCOLES certifiable upon appointment; pass written test and oral (Board) interview, physical fitness test, background investigation, drug screening, medical and psychological evaluations.

Corrections Applications:

The Leelanau County Corrections Division is now seeking applications to establish a candidate pool for Corrections Officer positions, should a position come available.

The application deadline for the Corrections Officer candidate pool is 4pm on May 31, 2018.

To be considered for a Corrections Officer position, applicants must have taken and passed the LCOTS written and physical abilities testing. Information on this process can be found at http://www.misctc.org/standards.html
